Our Profile
Over 15 years on from relocating to the new workshop. Chesterton Coachworks has developed it's business into various directions of skilled workmanship One such direction has seen the Porsche 911 restoration grow from standard body restoration/repair to specialised panel manufacture such as 'ST' wheel arches - Racing mods to body shells - RS recrations - Jig work etc.
The vintage and postwar body restoration has been busier than ever and showing no signs of slowing down due to the financial ups and downs. Jobs such as Ferrari 250LM - Lotus XI - Cooper Bobtail - Bugatti Type 35 - and various specials - individual panels for motorcycles - aircraft - charabancs - WW2 Jeeps - Lorries, even parts for steam engines.
Large investment in specialist machinery over the last few years has made our company able to compete for the more obscure diverse requests in the field of renovation/restoration and construction of vehicle panel work.
A close association with a company building Bentley recreations has provided a steady flow of business manufacturing aluminium wings, oil tanks, brass radiator shell construction. With new developments already planned giving our company more challenges ahead. The future promises to be stimulating and extremely interesting with new customer enquiries, plus regular repeat orders.
Our small team of highly skilled craftsmen have remained focused on quality and efficiency providing the customer with a lasting quality product.
